Going Green at Dow Rummel Village Part 2

Ezekial 34:2-4 -...'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Woe to the
shepherds of Israel who only take care of themselves! Should not shepherds
take care of the flock? You eat the curds, clothe yourselves with the wool
and slaughter the choice animals, but you do not take care of the flock. You
have not strengthened the weak or healed the sick or bound up the injured.
You have not brought back the strays or searched for the lost. You have
ruled them harshly and brutally.

At Dow Rummel Village, we are attempting to be more responsible stewards of
the environment around us, for the benefit of our residents and our
employees.
"Going Green" is an evolving process. Here are some more of the ways we are
"Going Green" at Dow Rummel.

1. In our deli area, we no longer use white paper bags. We ask that people
making large orders bring their own bags to carry their purchases.
2. Throughout the facility we are recycling paper, plastics and glass.
3. We are now using "green" products that contain fewer, or no, chemicals,
for stripping and waxing floors.
4. When we replace worn floor mats, the replacement mats are made with 100%
recycled plastic.

Any suggestions on what else we could do? Please, let us know by leaving a
comment here or e-mail us at info@dowrummel.com. Please put "Going Green" in
the subject line.
