Dow Rummel Village applied for Medicare Certification in our nursing home a
few months ago. Our Board of Trustees also gave us approval to start the
Medicaid Certification process as well. The Department of Health was here
recently to do the annual survey of our nursing home, memory care center and
assisted living center, which is also part of our Medicare and Medicaid
Certification process. We expect to be receiving our approval to provide
these services in the next couple months. We will keep you updated on the
status; and when we are certified to offer Medicare and Medicaid in our
health care center, we will be providing some educational sessions to our
